Nestled in the heart of the Big Horn National Forest, Paradise Ranch is surrounded by over a million acres of flowering meadows, tree covered mountains and clear mountain trout streams. With this much elbow room, the horseback riding, fly fishing and hiking opportunities are almost endless. Don't expect to see the same trail twice.
Paradise Ranch is a family place.
We’ve got special programs and activities for kids of all ages in addition to our adult activities. Children ages six and older can ride the trails with our wranglers, and even go on an overnight campout. Our teen program includes a teens-only social and their own overnight pack trip. Mom and Dad can enjoy their time knowing that the kids are safe and well-entertained by our counselors.
The latch string is always out at Paradise Ranch, so give it a pull and come join us.
The Ranch
The main facilities at the ranch include our spacious dining room, a recreation hall and lodge. The recreation hall offers billiards and ping-pong tables, and many board games for indoor fun. Our enclosed whirlpool spa and outdoor swimming pool are a welcome sight for guests after a full day of outdoor pursuits. Outdoor recreation includes volleyball, badminton and a horseshoe pit.
After a long, busy day, thirst-quenchers can be rustled in The French Creek Saloon in the lodge., The Saloon serves as a venue for ranch activities almost every evening, and features a unique list of domestic wines, and a full range of other refreshments.
The original homestead, now our general store, carries a variety of western wear and unique western jewelry. If a week at the ranch has you longing for a cowboy hat, this is the place to satisfy your need.
Up the road, near our trout ponds, is our new fly shop. The fly shop features outdoor wear, fishing equipment, maps and miscellaneous sporting goods.
Lodging
Our accommodations can best be described as "rustic elegance". One, two and three bedroom cabins are available. For some, vacation means just plain hangin' around the beautifully appointed log cabins- rustic and cozy with fireplaces and many modern conveniences. For most of our guests, however, their cabin is a comfortable sanctuary after a full day of fun.
All of our cabins have been recently renovated or newly built, and feature full baths, showers, kitchenettes, washers and dryers and unique western art. Each has an outdoor deck where you can relax and read, soak up the excitement of a ranch day, or enjoy the splendor of the evening while the shadows of the sunset dance up Fan Rock.
Dining
Our spacious dining hall rests in the center of the ranch. Here you will enjoy three hearty meals a day with a gourmet flair. Just like dinnertime at the old ranch house, meals are a great time to catch up on upcoming activities and announcements at the ranch. Choose from a unique array of wines and pair your selection with dinner on Gourmet Night.
