Fishing
At Paradise Ranch, we take great pride in teaching our guests the art of fly fishing.
"Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime."
Whether a seasoned pro or eager beginner, our fly fishing guides will take you to all the best-kept secret spots. Our fly fishing program offers a myriad of fishing possibilities. Get your start on our fully stocked trout ponds or cast your line below Fan Rock on French Creek, a creek that weaves through our ranch and is always teeming with cutthroat and rainbow trout. Want to explore further waters? Take a guided trip of a lifetime to a nearby canyon, river, or alpine lake, the choice is yours. Our guides are well-trained, which means you count on good fishing advice and a guide committed to your enjoyment, comfort, and satisfaction.

Guidance and Gear
Gear
During your week at the ranch, we offer casting clinics, knots, and fly-tying classes and teach you how to strike, play and properly catch and release fish on our private trout ponds. After your start-up lessons, you are free to pursue group guided trips, private guided trips or take off on your own to our productive and varied surrounding waters. All fishing gear, with the exception of flies, is provided. Extended trips can be arranged once you get to the ranch for an additional fee.
Our Fly Shop
French Creek Angler's Fly Shop
That's right, Paradise has a full-service fly shop right on property for your convenience. The fly shop is the place to sign up for fishing trips, attend a casting clinic, get gear for your next outing or find out what they're "hitting on" from our group of experienced fishing guides! Fishing licenses are required and may be purchased at the shop.
Our Waters
Blue and Red Ribbon Fishing in Paradise
A blue-ribbon stream is a designation given to trout fisheries that are extremely high-quality for anglers and wildlife enthusiasts. Blue ribbon streams in Wyoming are those with greater than 600 pounds of trout per mile. These represent the top 3-5 percent of rivers or streams in the state for trout production. A red ribbon stream has 300-600 pounds of trout per mile. At Paradise, we have 3 of these blue-ribbon streams available right at our fingertips that you will be able to fish. We also have the option to take guests to 5 red ribbon streams! Make sure to sign-up for one of these unforgettable fishing trips here in Paradise.
