A typical week at Paradise Guest Ranch

Wondering what it's like to spend a week at a Dude Ranch in Wyoming? Let us walk you through the activities that we offer. You only get one week at Paradise Guest Ranch so we try to pack in as much FUN as we can!

Sunday - Arrive and get settled in your cabin

Check-In at Paradise begins after 3pm! You will arrive to the ranch on a Sunday and we will take you to your cozy cabin to get settled in.  Once you are settled and rested, we will have introductions in the saloon followed by a big turkey dinner! After dinner there is an orientation so that you can learn about all the fun activities our dude ranch offers during the week.

Monday - Meet our wranglers and ride horses

After a delicious Monday morning breakfast, walk down to the barn to meet our guest ranch wranglers and hit the trail for your first horseback ride!

On Monday night we all walk up the hill past French Creek to a picnic where you will enjoy mouthwatering pulled pork and a breathtaking view!

Later that evening we have a sing-a-long and marshmallow roast in the saloon.

For the rest of the week at our guest ranch you get to choose the activity you want to do.  It could be:

  • Morning horseback ride
  • Afternoon horseback ride
  • Team penning
  • Fishing trip
  • Fishing on the ranch
  • Hiking
  • Or--why not-- just relaxing by the pool!

Tuesday Night - Swing Dance Party

Swing dancing is a tradition at Paradise Guest Ranch

On Tuesday night we have a Swing Dance party in the saloon. Grab a wrangler and hold on tight!

Wednesday Night - Talent Show

Talent show is every Wednesday night. You can bring anything to share... a joke, an impersonation, a song, or something else. The more we have, the more FUN it is!

Thursday - Turn Out & Hike

On Thursday we give our horses the afternooon off. Be sure to catch the turn out right after lunch!

Crazy Woman Canyon at Paradise Guest Ranch

We offer a beautiful hike down Crazy Woman Canyon on Thursday afternoon. Many people prefer to rest or enjoy the pool or hot tub during this afternoon!

On Thursday night the Kids Program heads out with all the kids to an overnight sleepover, and the adults have the ranch to themselves! We have a gourmet meal and live entertainment in the saloon. It's always a great party!

Friday - Rides

Morning, afternoon, or all-day rides on Friday. After the rides we have a chuckwagon dinner with delicious BBQ that night.

Saturday - Kid's Rodeo

Saturday afternoon wraps up the week with a Kid's Rodeo! We cheer the kids on as they barrel race and pole race around the arena, and there are even some clowns with crazy antics.

The final night at the guest ranch ends with an old fashioned Square Dance. Don't forget your cowboy boots!

Sunday - Good bye

Sunday morning we say good bye to our friends, old and new. One week is not enough for many friends, so they come back year after year. We hope you will come spend a week at Paradise to experience the ranch vacation yourself.  We know your whole family will love it and cherish this family vacation --building FUN memories for life!
